Our Vision

Our mission is to provide accessible and exceptional dance education that nurtures artistic growth, inspires creativity, builds empathy and fosters a lifelong appreciation for the arts. Our goal is to empower children to thrive both on and off the stage.

Our faculty cares deeply about nurturing young dancers at all stages of training, from pre-ballet to pre-professional, by providing opportunities for joy, setting high standards for technical excellence, and fostering artistry. These values apply whether you study in our day time pre-professional Conservatory program, in our after school program or in our adaptive ballet program.  While ballet technique is the foundation of our school, students will also have the opportunity to train in diverse movement styles to develop their versatility and musicality. We hope that our students will apply what they learn in our school to all aspects of their lives because we believe that the dedication, perseverance, self-awareness and self-regulation that is learned through ballet training, and the empathy, friendship and community that is shared in a school, can help students achieve any goal they set for themselves.

Offerings Overview:

Beginning in September, 2026, we expect to offer Pre-ballet, After School, Conservatory and Adaptive Ballet programs.

Pre-ballet Program: classes for young dancers aged 3-6 in creative movement and pre-ballet to develop musicality, classroom etiquette, focus, flexibility, muscular control and coordination.

After School Program: classes in classical ballet technique at beginner, intermediate and advanced levels (ages 7-20). Students engage in more classes per week as they advance and can expect to spend at least 2 years in each level before advancing to the next level. Students are grouped by level and the skills they are working on and age is a secondary factor in determining class placement. Proper technique is emphasized to avoid injury. Class placement is at the discretion of the faculty. Students in this program begin pointe work at the discretion of the faculty when they have reached technical milestones to allow them to safely begin pointe work. Optional additional classes in jazz, modern, contemporary ballet and cross-training are introduced as technique level increases. Students may only enroll in these additional classes if they are attending ballet technique classes.

Conservatory Program: students aged 12-20 are admitted to our daytime pre-professional training program by audition. This program provides training to prepare students for the realities of life in a professional ballet company. In addition to developing technique, excellence and artistry, this program aims to help dancers navigate casting expectations, rehearsal etiquette and understudy responsibilities. Dancers perform in corps de ballet and soloist roles and navigate the many challenges that accompany bringing a ballet from studio to stage.  Students also have opportunities to choreograph on their peers with support from faculty through structured choreography classes. This program also aims to help highly motivated students identify their strengths and direct their focus towards expanding their skills to become more versatile and employable artists.  Students attend workshops in how to build a ballet resume for company and college auditions and are provided with faculty guidance for video audition filming. Students will have opportunities to perform both in new works and classical repertoire. We also aim to help young dancers and their families learn how to care for their minds and bodies through an evidenced-based injury prevention program. Students in this program study 5-6 days per week. Supervised academic study time with a dedicated mentor is available as part of this program.
